Reflection on Group Presentations - Gabriela Tejedor

I believe that every group that presented talked about something very important for our daily lives. Each topic gave me a new way to think about the world and how I live in it. Mental health, education, family, and career are all big parts of our lives. Knowing more helps us make better choices and enjoy every moment because life is short, and we only get one. Life is precious and beautiful. We must make the most of it. Live to the fullest and have fun overall.

Mental Health and fun social life - Group 2

My group focused on health, mental health, and social life, or connectedness. You need to feel good mentally to enjoy time with friends and have fun in your life. Mental health is not just about being happy. It’s also about handling your emotions, taking care of yourself, and feeling balanced. If your mental health is not in a good place it’s harder to go outside see friends or enjoy daily activities things like anxiety, stress, or depression can stop people from having a social life or doing well in school mental health also affects our physical health if our minds are tired or stressed our bodies feel it to take care of your mental health means doing things like exercising eating well sleeping enough and taking breaks meditation and quiet time can also help one of the most important things is having good friends the people around us can make a big difference good friends, make us feel safe, happy and more comfortable that friends can make us feel worse and hold us back Everyone has problems, but we have people to talk to life feels a little easier mental health and having friends work together we need both to feel happy and strong. The world is stressful, but if we care for our mental health, we can enjoy more of the good things in life.

Economics of Education - Group 1

The group that talked about the economics of education helped me see how important it is to understand money and school early in life. Learning about credit scores, student loans, and how to manage money is something we should all learn before graduating. A lot of people get into trouble because they don’t know how to handle money. If we learn these things early, we can make smarter decisions and avoid problems. Being smart with money, helps us reach our goals, faster and with less stress it’s not just about saving money it’s about planning for a better future, this presentation made me think about how important it is to take responsibility we need to understand what things cost and how to use money wisely being able to manage your money means we can’t take care of ourselves help others and have more control over our lives Education is a big investment it costs time and money but I can help us get good jobs and live better lives. We must be careful with how we use lawns and debit and always try to learn more. Financial knowledge is key to being successful and feeling secure in the future. The group reminded me that being prepared for the national gives us the freedom to choose the path we want.

Family and Potential Careers - Group 3

This group’s presentation touched my heart because everyone has a family, and we all have dreams about the future. Some people grow up and have strong, laughing families, while others face hard times, with families always affect how we see ourselves and what we want to do. Something no sometimes our family support us and sometimes they don’t understand our dreams, but no matter where we come from we all deserve a chance to follow the career we love having people cheering us on makes a big difference when we believe in ourselves and have others who believe in us to anything feels possible careers are more than jobs a career or something you have done for a long time it’s where you put our energy time and passion. We should try to find something that makes us excited to wake up in the morning. When you love what you do, it shows you do your best work and help others more in today’s world. We have so many options. Our parents didn’t have the same choices we make; they may have only a few job paths, but we have access to amazing careers in medicine, technology, art, and more. We should be thankful for these changes and use them to build a life we love.

What I think - My Final Thoughts

After listening to all the group presentations, I feel like I’ve learned so much about our lives. These topics matter because the shape of who we are, and how we live, mental health, education, family, and careers are all connected. They help us grow and become stronger people. We all want to be happy, healthy, and successful, but we must work for it. We must take care of our mental health, plan our education, manage our bodies, and follow our dreams, and we can’t do it alone. We need people around us, friends, teachers, and family to support us. Life can be hard. Sometimes there are always ups and downs, but if we keep learning and keep trying, we can handle anything that comes our way. Each group reminded me that it’s ok to struggle; what matters is how we respond. if we stay strong, Kind, and keep going, we will be ok. The most important thing I took from these presentations is that life is short; we only get one, so we should make it count. Take care of our minds. Learn how to manage money, love your family, find a job you love, and always help others when you can If we do these things, we’ll live a life we can be proud of.
